Social Indoor

Our Story

Social Indoor was born from a simple observation by founder Tony Jacobson: while people spend hours inside bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues, the advertising space within those venues was vastly underutilized. In 2018, Tony launched Social Indoor from Minneapolis, Minnesota with a mission to connect brands with captive audiences in the places where people naturally gather.

What started as a handful of screens in Twin Cities bars quickly grew into a movement. Within the first year, Social Indoor had expanded across the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro, signing venue partners who saw the value of free, professionally installed digital displays.

Growth and Expansion

By 2020, Social Indoor had proven its model and launched its franchise program, enabling entrepreneurs across the country to build their own indoor advertising networks under the Social Indoor brand. The franchise model unlocked rapid geographic expansion, growing from one state to 20+ states in just a few years.

Today, Social Indoor operates more than 3,300 venues with over 16,000 digital and print placements nationwide. Major brands including Netflix, American Airlines, Marriott, Converse, and FanDuel run campaigns on our screens alongside local businesses in every market.

The Road Ahead

Social Indoor continues to grow at an accelerating pace, with new franchise territories launching regularly and our programmatic DOOH platform attracting an expanding roster of national advertisers. Our vision is to become the definitive indoor advertising network in North America.

Social Indoor is the nation's fastest-growing indoor digital out-of-home advertising network with 3,300+ venues across 20+ states. Reach real people in bars, restaurants, gyms, and entertainment venues with 100% share of voice and zero bot traffic.
